Question:
The sun is shining, I slept good, my kids are behaving, our new house is coming along and I really love it! My feet haven't itched in almost a week and I'm going to get to meet some people on this board! I'm so excited that I'm not even upset that I attempted to apply some self-tanner and my arms are now stripped! LOL! For some reason I'm in a really good mood today!

we are going to hang a new birdfeeder up on a new pole I bought (supposed to be squirrel-proof) we have been fighting the squirrels for twenty- some years ....They have billions of acorns to live on...but no! they want the birdseed too! :p
I have birdhouses hanging all over on trees or poles ....love watching them and so does Reiley our cat.....but his leash won't take him anywhere near them.... :D he has been on a leash for his outdoor outings since he came to live with us...when he wants to go out he lets us know by jumping on the table where we put his collar on....smart cat!

Your yard sounds like mine. Birds all over that place, but no cat except neighbors. I'm glad you put yours on a leash.
We saw our first humming bird this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our Eastern Bluebirds are starting their nest. We put their house about 20 feet from our porch so we can watch them.
My cats all go on leashes too Sally! Wow I didn't think anyone else did that...it IS a good idea though. That keeps the squirrely one from catching rabbits and birds too! :p
