Collect Questions

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well! I just wanted to take a minute and brag on a board member of ours. :D Sorry, but I have to do it. :) Those of you who have kind of followed what I've been through with my insurance and appointments know that I've been waiting forever to see a good dermatologist. I have flared unimaginably and it has really hurt me a lot. I try to smile, but you all know how hard that is when you can't even stand the skin you're in. Well, lovely PJ Leary essentially came to my rescue. :D I've talked to her twice on the phone and multiple times through PM, and she has done nothing but help me since the first day I talked to her. She got me in touch with an AWESOME derm who I went to see this morning. He sat and talked with me for a long time, totally concerned and giving me some great advice. I almost started crying in that office, I was so relieved to have someone sitting in front of me who "knew". I know he could see the pain in my eyes and I could see how much he wanted to help me. It was just so relieving. I don't know why, but a ton of bricks came off my shoulders.
We talked and weighed out the options together and I'm finally on some medication. I will keep you all updated on how it goes. :)
Anyway I just wanted to say that PJ, and ALL of you, who take time out of your day everyday to help a stranger in need, you are the true angels among us. When my Mom died, this was kind of my theme song :D , and finally, I have met people in my life who also fit this description. Thank you so much PJ from the bottom of my heart. I know it may seem small to you, but this has literally made my week. FINALLY, I may get some relief.
Thank you to everyone here who has talked with me, wished my husband well, given me great advice, and made me feel SO welcome. This is an absolutely wonderful place and I am so glad I found all of you.

I am so glad that hope has been restore with regards to your psoriais. That what we are here for to help one another and be supportive when other just don't understand.
You are indeed blessed to have found PJ. She is a wonderful lady always willing to help.She is special. You will find there are many angle on these boards, (and you are one of them).
