everything is green here now and we slamed right out of winther to summer already . in the 80s already. here is my question what are some of yall spring plans ? additions, fountian, vacations , short trips , spring cleaning, airing your draws out on a cloths line . anything lol
well im remodling my house right now yuck what a pain in the rear that is.
but its gonna be worth the hastle.
going to hawii in june (daughters getting married there ) rolling my eyes
not happy about it tho. i hate flying and hate tourest traps but i know i will get leied lol


going to the beach this week end-not to swim with sharks-just visiting in laws.

i love going to the beach too, i go more in the winter then summer less people ,prices are better too. we got hit with so many hurricanes last year everything around here has been tore up pretty bad.


People here are getting ready for spring, or acting as though it is spring already... which quite humors me, because we're gonna get another dump of snow shortly, they just dont see it coming...

Oh yeah, I have plans for spring. It's really hot here today. I can't wait to jump in the car and go to the beach. I finally bought a new car a month ago so now I can go where ever I want. The beach is only 1 hour away. We haven't been to the beach in 3 years. I just haven't had a reliable car to get there. Then hopefully in June we will be taking a trip to Pa to visit with my family. It's been 5 years since I've been home. I'm hoping to see my son (he's 18). I haven't seen or talked to him since he was 10. Long story.

I love the first tease of warm weather- I took a look around my yard today, the crocus and iris are beginning to poke through- now if it would just dry out enough to work in the yard without becoming a mud-monkey it would be great- Looking forward to relaxing in my hammock-


I love spring...because summer is right behind it!
all the buds are coming out...next will be the baby leaves....yippie.... swimming is just around the corner :D

I'm not that fond of summer (too hot for me!), but I love spring! There is nothing more beautiful than the "pink snow".....when the cherry blossoms all start falling. :) I grew up in CA with no seasons....(ok, one)...and love living in the Northwest where the weather is exciting. I can't wait to see the cherry blossoms all over again next week in DC! :)

Hey jrs,
First of all we are still waiting for it to warm up in NJ. But, my vegetable garden plants: tomatoes, green peppers, eggplant and zuchinni have all germinated and will be ready for their outdoor plots by the first of May.
In the meantime we will be installing a new paver patio (I will be installing and the boss lady will be giving directions:).
But even before all of this takes place we are off to Charleston SC where my daughter's best friend from HS will be getting married.
This trip will be capped off with a week at Disney World. Hopefully, some of you good southern folk can whip up a healthy dose of warm weather and friendly sunshine for a few of us northerners that hare hoping to shake a case of cabin fever.

LOL Patio pavers are basically fancy bricks in lieu of concrete.
4 times the work and 6 times the cost but they do look nice.
Take away the pool, add a fish pond and scale the attached picture down about 3 times and voila you have a close rendering of what I hope to accomplish.
