He wasn't crying because they lost, but because the season is over. For anyone who has followed the Illini, you would realize the "magic" that was there. They didn't have to rely on one big burly guy who wouldn't get called for fouls...they worked as a team. And they fought all the way to the end - NEVER giving up.
Congratulations, UNC. But, kudos to the Illini for a wonderful season - more than we could have asked for!!!!!!

Granny, now you get to celebrate. That May I think really did it. I didn't stay up to see if he was MVP. I do know that they beat the alleged #1 team. I would have put my money on Illinois but UNC is the better team this year.
It was nice to see a game that went to the end so to speak. At least the last minute.
It was an awesome game!!!!!!!! I enjoyed watching it, and even though i was rooting for illinois (i sort of agree with Khorath), congrats to nc!!!!!

We just got home. We did watch the game--WOW. They had me worried for awhile. There is blue and white everywhere. I never have decided which NC team I like the best. We watch a lot of their games and have had a lot of good ones. Guess it was their time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just watch our NC teams and you'll get the fever. Wake Forest, Duke, NC State and UNC are all good. People here love basketball and these kids start playing as soon as they can.
sports is big here too,everyone is gaagaa over LSU . it seems to be fun for people . i just cant see it . i tryed to watch games but its just not me, i guess thats what makes the world go round our differences . i get amused at people that get all into it. i have to becarfull here what i say cause people here will wanna fight ya if ya say the wrong thing during a game. this year there was a game on and i was with a friend of mine and he said they are sucking tonight and someone jumped up and got in his face and the next thing i knew the police came in and got him . i had to rescue him from going to jail lol
