Question:
I would like to apologize for my recent post about the Pope, and the Papacy.
It was rude, insensitive, and inappropriate.
I have no excuse for myself.
I know this made many of you very upset; I can only hope that someday you can forgive me.
I can't claim to be a Christian while disrespecting so many. I've asked God's forgiveness, now I'm asking for yours.

Turbo, we all say things that we regret at one point or another. I have been guiltyof someties over reacting myself and sometime I regret holding my tounge. We are all humans and make mistakes.

It was your opinion and it was your right to speak it. Frankly I dont understand how people can put so much faith in one person. Who is voted as the Pope. He isnt god. I wont worship a man who isnt god. Kinda like worshiping a squirrl to me. Not much different to me. I fully believe in god for all those who are gonna jump my a** later. Just my opinon. Its cool with me turbo!!!
Krys,,,this is what starts arguments,,just by what your saying,,,sometimes in life the things said are not the right time,,,,,,,I feel bad you feel like this,,,but that's your feeling ,,,just some respect is called for right now....... and to have no respect for the Pope ,,,who loved and devoted his life to GODS word,,, is dis-respectful.....
Everyone has a right to an opinion. I have strong opinions on just about everything. I usually try to express them appropriately. For example, I think certain religions are absolute Hooey Pie. However, I wouldn't go to a board of HooeyPie worshippers to tell them so because I think it would be inappropriate. I would go to the anti-HooeyPie board to express said opinion (if I really felt the need).

It was about a wonderful man passing on, It was about the respect that he deserved from everyone and nothing less and if anyone couldnt show respect they had no right to speak it in my opinion. NOT that the right place or time would even make a difference because in my eyes there is no right place or time to show such disrespect for such a great man.
It sounds like your looking for an arguement possibly, You had to know by posting what you just did you were going to hear something back from someone

But the Pope is just a little different, at least to me.
No different if a democratic president died. Regardless of my differences with a democrat, the US president is the US president. Just like the Pope is the Pope.
I have the right to speak my opinion. I just wanted to prove something. You all are speaking your opinion about loving the pope. And thats fine because its your opinion and you think its right. But its innapropriate for me to speak mine? Why because its different than yours? Thats how its seems to me. So ill go with the fact that its innapropritae for me to speak my opinioin, but life will go on. Because your opinion is right!! Mine is wrong because its different.

Sounds like another opinion to me. But like I said before, its all gravy because you agree with you, and ill be dam*** if someone disagrees with your opinion.
My opinion would also be that MOST would deserve the same RESPECT in a thread about THEIR passing
