DERANGED WOMAN ASSULTS COMPUTER
You'll all know I finally lost it. I've been having major computer problems, a few weeks ago my cable people froze my email acount cause they said I had picked up a trojan, we had to go to a site and download something to get rid of it and we've had nothing but problems ever since..... Like I'll be typing away and the thing just freezes. I have to wait and wait for the cursor to wake up until I can continue...It's taken over 5 minutes just for me to get this far in this post.......If I want to visit a couple of my favorite sites it takes forever to load the page. It use to take seconds.....and errors galore, we've done everything and nothing is helping...
So the story will go something like this....
A woman was pushed over the edge this morning due to her not being able to view and post on the psoriasis board. Merkinsmom aka pat known for her gentle, patient ways was so distressed over recent comp problems that she lost control and assulted her comp. Techs say the comp suffered severe non-repairable damage during the outrage. Neighbors reported that they saw merkinsmom carry the comp out of her house and throw it in the street, she then proceeded to jump up and down on the poor thing. Police were called when she proceeded to attack the comp with a sledge hammer, an ax, and a chainsaw. The fire department was also summoned when she poured gasoline on the computer and set it afire. Haz Mats teams were called when she poured various household cleaners on the comp. Officials say she poured bleach, tidy bowl and dish soap on the computer. Police were unable to stop her as she proceded to drive her mini van over and over the comp.
Officials say she showed no remorse after the comp was carried off to the local landfill. In an interview she said her only regret was that she hadn't done it sooner saving her weeks of anguish. Family members say the accused was under a great deal of stress, due to a cronic skin condition where she normally sought support from an online site but due to the comp acting up she hadn't been able to read and post on the board. No charges have been filed.......

Have you reformated your hard drive? Do you know how to do that? I don't know what I'm talking about--that's what my DH said. Someone on the site will be able to help you!

due to recent insodences in our nation i reget to inform you i just alearted the authorities on your cry for help. if by chance they actually come for you with a large dipnet in a white cloths, carring a pretty coat with large buckles please dont be alarmed.there only taking you to the local puter store or mall thats there job. have a nice day: concerned citizen

You posts are so funny the way you all have described this incidence. I am fully aware that it's not funny to go thru!!! I am very computor illeterite and when I have the slightest problem I hollar for my hubby. I know I would be lost if I couldn't get on here everyday to follow up with friends with common conditions.
If you see the men with the little white coats----have them swing by here when I have problems with this machine too!!!

Pat I do understand. Computer can't live with them can't live without them. Had a small prolem last night when there was an attachment to my hard drive and took all the memory. Luckerly I was able to retore to a point two days ago and that solved the problem.
I also met my wife via the computer 39 years ago Before internet. Old univac system with vacuc tubes the whole nine yards. Paid 3 buck for 5 names and have been paying even since.
Pat, Hang in there and no more assualting the computer. Be nice to your compute and it will be nice to you!
