Collect Questions

Would anyone know about why Die Hard 3 SE DVD doesn't have the alternative ending on any of the 2 discs, even though it states it on the back cover as being on disc 2?
Have I got a dodgy copy? is it hidden within the disc? Or is there no alternative ending on it at all??
If anyone could help, that would be great!



The alternate ending is there - it's simply cos the menu is the same as the R1, even though the contents are different.
I think if you go into the commentry section, the alternate ending is there (!). It's deffinately somewhere on the disc as my friend found it by accident whilst browsing through the menus.



Not that the alternate ending is any good though...........very unusal for a DVD extra (spot the sarcasm)



Yes its on the second disc extras under commentary - suggest you watch it without the commentary otherwise you can't hear the dialogue and none of it makes any sense!
It took me a while to find it as well.......

if you have the r2 dvd, then its not a special edtion, but a collectors edition, I sure hope so as I have not brought it because of the cuts made to it.



I enjoyed the alternative ending, always worth seeing this stuff when it’s so completely different like this one is.



I know this is an old post, but I've only got round to trying this out and realised that I have the Collectors Edition, NOT the Special Edition. The alternative ending is definitely not on any of the discs on this (unless it is somewhere hidden).
Can anyone confirm this please?
