Question:
I've just seen on Play and Amazon that they have the second series of Father Ted to pre-order - 15/10/2001.
However, it's listed as episodes 1 - 5. Where has the 6th episode gone?:confused:
Series 2 had 10 episodes so I assume it will be released in two volumes.
Hopefully Vol. 2 will also contain a Christmassy Ted which has some of the funniest things in the entire series.
****! I thought I had the whole second series on video!!!!!!!!!!!! This is shocking!:eek:
I missed the third series on tv so thought the one on the plane and Dougal=Bob Geldof episodes etc... were from the that!!!!!!
If your not sure what you have and haven't seen there is afull episode guide here http://www.father-ted.co.uk/pages/eguide.html
WARNING: There are spoilers on this site so don't read if you've not seen the episodes

Digging this thread up from the murky depths to say it looks like the Christmassy Ted episode is on Series 2, volume 1 according to play247.
Episodes from the second series are: 'Hell', 'Think Fast, Father Ted', 'Tentacles Of Doom', 'The Old Grey Whistle Theft','Song For Europe' plus 'A Christmassy Ted'.
As you can see even though it states 5 episodes it actually lists 6 including Christmassy Ted....
I hope it has another Graham Linehan commentary on it, along with Arthur Matthews if we're really lucky...
"A Christmassy Ted" is definitely included along with the first 5 episodes of the series!! Got it this morning.
******' marvellous! :D :D

I was going to delay ordering this but now I know it has a Christmassy Ted on then it will be mine ASAP. The lingerie dept is one of the funniest scenes in the whole series
Season 2 - Part 1 - Definitely contains Linehan commentary - listened to it last night :D Looks like it will be a continuing feature, he mentions that by Season 3 he'll just probably be humming on the track and that's about it !

Is there a commentary track for all the episodes?
Anyone know when series 2 part 2 will be out??
Episodes should be;
The Plague
Rock a Hula Ted
Cigarettes and Alcohol and Rollerblading
New Jack City
Flight into Terror
Also, do you reckon they'll fit all 8 episodes of series 3 on one disc or split it to make more cash?
I'd go for the latter, the chance to spilt the discs again and make £40 instead of £20 out of us will probably be too great !
Sorry George Didn't see your previous message - yes there are commentary tracks on all the episodes.
I won't mind it being 2 discs as long as they can get extra commentaries from the cast members preferably in character. ALthough that would be little weird without Dermot Morgan to chip in.

Hmm, might not be too great, they don't really have much to say at the end of the day do they;
Jack; "****, Girls, Drink, I'm a happy camper! etc..."
Mrs Doyle; "Would you like a cup of tea? Ah go on!"
Dougal; "............................................................."
I was just wondering about the third because that's what I would do, 4 episodes per disc. However, they did put all 8 out on one Video tape, so here's hoping.
