Question:
tonight (monday 6th).
never seen this Carpenter film.
is it any good ?
How can you miss it? Its on BBC 1 every month :D
Its worth watching, definetley a good film, but be warned, its extremely OTT (even for a horror film). The man on the bike :eek: Need I say more?
A really good, if not very wired watch. I think I may give it a go just to refresh my memory...... cheers for the heads up

had some good ideas, but....... it sucked.
watched this when I was younger and thought it was rubbish, probably didnt understand it then, would love to watch it again though but when its on TV I always find out 20 mins from the end.
the film looks crazy, hopefully I'll get to see it next time! :rolleyes:

It didn't suck, it's the last great Carpenter film IMO!
Some great suspense is built up and it's a very good story for a "B movie horror"
Then again, I really like Ghosts Of Mars, so what do I know?:)
Watched this last night and to be honest found it a bit of a mess. Some good ideas and a couple of good scares but i felt it should have been better and was definately a missed opportunity.
I've always thought this film to be wonderfully weird. The guy on the bike is one of those creepy scares that stays with you, it is certainly an image that has haunted me a bit, after seeing the film.
I'm a big Carpenter fan, so I'd give it 5/5 quite easily but then again I'd give Vampires 4/5, and Ghosts Of Mars 3/5. However, Escape From L.A, is a Carpenter film which I think is rubbish.
