Can't wait!
Wow!
Wasn't expecting such a nice trailer for a teaser trailer. If you look at the teaser trailer for T3.
Thanks for the link.
Can't wait either!
Trailer (17.6mb) Direct Link (http://a772.g.akamai.net/5/772/51/567b25ec97b8d5/1a1a1aaa2198c627970773d80669d84574a8d80d3cb12453c02589f25382f668c9329e0375e81784ed5fc02d8e0635a00975e140a20b77e3/kill_bill_m480.mov)
I saw this minutes after Apple uploaded it and was knocked for six by how stunning it looks! The music, the cinematography, the set and costume designs, the ladies, and that music again - wow (look at me, i'm turning into Lenny Nero :D ).
Game of Death, The Green Hornet, Fist of Fury (maybe, Lui vs Uma scene?) - the list of homage paid for this film will be endless but oh so good.
This film will rock. Directed by Tarantino, action by Yuen Woo Ping, starring Uma Thurman, Michael Madsen, Sonny Chiba, Gordon Liu, Lucy Lui, Chiaki Kuriyama..
The only thing i'm not convinced about is Uma Thurman as a samurai sword wielding ninja master, but hey, i'll wait until i've seen the film before deciding.
Oh and is Gordon Liu the old master who stands on Uma's sword in the trailer?
 GONNA BE CLASS
Looking good so far - some nice set pieces in that trailer :)
I think it looks like any other hollywood chop-socky action film. Nothing special at all. Tarantino's strength is in dialogue and characterisation and it seems to have none of that in the trailer...
oh my god how good does that trailer look:clap:
Quentin rocks:clap:
Thought it was gonna rock after reading the script. Now i've seen the trailer i'm gonna have to lie down in a darkend room.
It doesn't look as I'd imagined a Tarantino film would but I have to admit it looks pretty cool. Anyone know when we'll see it over here?
I have to say that this trailer..........oh wheres the head banging smiley gone ?

Autumn time.
The film gets it's first showing at Cannes then released after the summer silly season.
Since i love a good martial arts and samurai films, i have to say that this teaser looks
I haven't read the script because i don't what to be spoiled but i'm confident that the final movie will contain the trademark Tarantino dialogue and characterisation, along with the top-looking fight set pieces already seen in this teaser.
If this does turn out to be a bog standard, 'pales in significance compared to the best of HK action cinema', Hollywood chop-stocky film i am going to be sooooo disappointed.
ohhhh ahhhh I just come!!!!

Anyone know what the music is or was it just made for the film (by RZA actually as well - same guy who did the music for Ghost Dog)
WHOA!!!

Damn right! This movie is gona be Tarantino's best yet! I love all of his 3 previous ones a lot, including True Romance, they're in my Fav Criminals section, didn't make it into Top 20, but I have a STRONG feeling Kill Bill will!

Yeah! And how about David Carradine and Daryl Hannah!!!

Uma Thurman and Daryl Hannah are SO beautiful in it!
what an awesome trailer, looks incredible
Can Quentin pick music or what?
When those titles came up i thought 'Hmm, so far so Quentin' but as the trailer is cut to the music and we're teased by brief fights and characters it just get's better. As a teaser it does exactly that with some choice TarantinoTalk at the end for good measure.
A sign of a good trailer?, for me to watch it again the minute it finishes.
The last time i did that was for 'The Comedian'.
So Kill Bill is my first of 2003. :notworthy
ooooh i cant wait:notworthy
The scene with Uma in the middle of a circle of blokes, it looked great.
Wow  , i dont think i have been so excited sitting in front of my screen for .... like 6 minutes. No, but what a wish i could swearing amazing trailer! Cannot wait for this.
gordon liu is the bald headed yakuza wearing the kato mask..
any ideas what that song is called, its really awesome
Wow.
Coolest film of the year? I think so. :notworthy
Tarantino's been promising something like this since Reservoir Dogs - I can't wait. I also can't see the trailer, 'cos I can't install Quicktime or Realplayer on this work pc... anyone know of a Windows format version?
Michael Madsen

I think it is part of the score that RZA (from the Wu-Tang Clan) has produced for the film.
Indeed this looks superb:notworthy

It dosen't sound like RZA.
(Strange he's doing the music because the script keeps mentioning that heavy metal should play.)
I'd guess the trailer tune is off some obscure thriller only 6 people have seen. But if any body does find out...
God that does look good. Looking very much forward to seeing this trailer in the cinema - let alone the film.
I've been avoiding all the stories about this film up until now - so I really knew nothing about it - but it's just vaulted over everything else in my must-see list...
i'm a huge Tarantino fan. I had a look at the teaser trailer and i'm not sure what to think. The colours look nice. The action looks "competent". Uma looks better as a blonde than a brunette... As for the music... Not quite as rhetro as any of the stuff used in Pulp, Dogs, Jackie Brown which disappoints me.
other thoughts? I dunno, it looks like an action film, and not like the character/dialogue based crime capers we're used to from the man.
It's certainly going to be more mainstream, but question is will it introduce anything new to pop culture? As it seems as though it's a homage to chop-suey flicks, i doubt it'll have many original elements to it like the violence we see in Reservoir Dogs or the rape scene in Pulp Fiction - the controversial bits that make those Tarantino film's boarder on the fringe of mainstream, and make them, well, "pulp" classics.
I can't wait to see the film, but i dont know whether by the strength of that trailer it'll be any good. Could well turn out to be a humdrum actioner with some punchy dialogue and little else. I hope not.
humdrum actioner? With Sonny Chiba, Gordon Liu and Woo Ping choreographing I have high hopes!
Looking forward to this and Hero next year (Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Tony Leung, Maggie Cheung, Zhang Ziyi WOW!) :)
That trailer Rocks big time!
'The 4th Film By Quentin Tarantino' - How egotistical and arrogant is that?
Got to love him! :D
Looks total class - one of the best trailers I've seen and how they all should be, enough footage to make you interested but no plot given away. Signs was another recent trailer I loved, really thoughtfully put together - shame so many trailers tell you too much about the film :oh-hum:
Wow! looks great, I wasn't too excited about this before, now I can't wait for it :notworthy
Looks more "Dusk till Dawn" than "Reservoir Dogs".
True Romance was Tony Scott's film, not Tarantino's.

It does a bit doesn't it?, but maybe this is just the teaser and a more plot driven Trailer will come out nearer to release date.
As a teaser it works well, i think it's whetted everyone's appetite on here without necessarily giving any plot points away.

Yeah but it was written by him, so I count it as a Tarantino movie.
True Romance and Natural Born Killers were written by Tarantino & a friend and were apparently two halfs of the same script.
The script was sold for the minimal amount allowed to finance Reservoir Dogs.
oh...my...god
so........when it says "4th tarantino film"....to which one are they actually referring as the third? Jackie Brown?
Yes.
Before Kill Bill, Quentin had made three amazing movies, each one very different from the other but each one still showing his style. Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown. He also Directed/Wrote one of the four stories told in Four Rooms, but it has been absolute ages since I saw this movie, so I can't really comment. I do remember loving Tim Roth's bell hop though and of course the half-naked witches.
Up for anyone who hasn't downloaded it yet...

This looks really cheesy to me. I love Pulp Fiction, but Kill Bill looks a bit unrealistic, standing on a sword? Floating in the air!?!
A homage to Game of Death by the looks of the thing. I hope this will be good.
Does anybody know if the opening shot of the aeroplane in the trailer is actually in the film? It looks crap!
i thought it might be a link/sting type thing for the production company (like the "a Band apart" thing on the previous films) and isn't actually part of the film.
The snow scene reminded me of Bushido Blade on the PS, and the colour/silloette (sp?) bit is also reminiscent from somewhere
When's it due over here then ?

Wow, that's the music, yes! It's not even old, from 2000, though the music sounded very 80's. Guess we'll have to wait for the soundtrack.
