Question:
I seem to remember reading somewhere recently that New Line was going to stop using snappers, and that all new printings would be amarays. Has anyone bought any of the older titles and received them in amarays?
I realize that new line's releases in Canada are mostly distributed by Alliance Atlantis and therefore are not snappers, but that's a different story. The CA releases are usually French language covers. What I'm wondering about is the US releases. For example I have heard that the US release of Austin powers IMOM is an amaray now.
Does anyone have any evidence to support what I'm talking about? Any info appreciated, thanks.
Yes all the Austin Powers discs are in amarays. However they may be old snapper stock kicking around so I wouldn't be to sure about ordering them seperately, the 3 pack will all be amarays though.
Not so sure about any other titles though.
At first they only released their Infinifilm titles in amarays, then everything else with Blade II and Jason X, etc, but all the older titles are still in snapper crappers, maybe new pressings will be done in amarays but there is so much stock that you're guaranteed to get a snapper on an older title. Only new releases are in amarays.
