Blue Underground to release Dead and Buried?
Question:

In this review (http://www.dvdmaniacs.net/Reviews/A-D/contamination.html) over at DVD Maniacs, there is the blithe comment:
I hope that Blue Underground would save all this love and care for some of their upcoming titles, like Dead and Buried and Fight for Your Life.
I'd say this can be taken as legit, as they've got hold of review copies of this disc even before it's been fully announced on Blue Underground's website.
I've heard a bit about Fight for Your Life - by all accounts, a bit like a cross between Sweet Sweetback's BaadAsssss Song and Straw Dogs - and I can't say it interests me, but Dead and Buried?!
Yahoooo!
Given Blue Underground's sterling work on all their titles so far, this should be a good 'un, especially as all versions of the film up to now have reportedly been less than satisfactory.
But what about Gary Sherman's other cult horror sleeper, the cannibal-on-the-Tube classic Death Line? I'd love to replace my old BBC1 VHS recording, but I hear music rights are holding up MGM giving it a release in the US. Surely Anchor Bay UK can wrangle it from Carlton Video?

Answers:

I have the R4 version of Dead & Buried the print is really terrible the sound isn't much better. Probably worse than the VHS copy I have :( let's hope Blue Underground make a decent job of it.

 Good news, Dead And Buried is a really enjoyable film and TBH i quite like Fight For Your Life aswell (though if you're offended by EXTREMELY rascist language, then don't watch).

Wow Paulie, something you haven't seen in the 'underground/horror' field?
