Collect Questions

I've just tried playing this DVD and come across a nasty problem. The disc starts up and the BBC logo plays but then the disc stops. If I then press play the program starts and plays fine missing out the menu screen. Then if I try to access the menu the disc stops again and if I press the menu button again I get a message about Parental Control Playback. I've been through my setup to confirm I've got no parental controls but whatever I do I can't access the menu & therefore none of the extras (the disc won't even let me use the title button to get at the extras).
I've tried the DVD in my DVD Rom and everything works perfectly so it's obviously a player problem (currently using LG 3350). Has anyone else had this problem on their machine.



I have the same machine and the same disk - no problems here I'm afraid.

Thanks for that info, looks like I'll have to do some more playing around with my player then.



I've now managed to get at the extras using the title button, but I still can't get access to any of the menus. I'll try the DVD on a friends machine tomorrow.



I have a similar problem, though can access the special features through persistance. But It's a right pain.
I have an Lg player as well.
