Question:
I have just returned to this forum after almost a year. Don't ask, but kids take a lot of time.
I have just received Men In Black II Widescreen (Region 1) from DVDBOXOFFICE. Whe I try to play it I get a region map and a message telling to go away and get a region 1 player.
I have a Wharfdale dvd750 (original black one). This is the first disc I have ever had problems with.
Anyone know what the problem is and, more importantly, how to fix it?
Thanks.
It's a RCE disk - the Wharfdale 750's aren't compatible as far as I was aware - although my 750 played them!??

It seems the 750s will play RCE disks but you will need to set the player to R1 only.
Follow the above links for how to do it
It plays fine on my 750S, so it must be just a 750 problem.
