I hope not. Though it doesn't matter when you see as there is bound to be some pleb to ruin it. When i went to see AOTC at a midnight showing some teenage girls came in drunk late and giggled throughout the first half of the film before being picked up by there parents. Silly bints.

I just seen a TV spot that says this is rated a 12A :(
Got no chance of seeing it before the kids break up so i think i'll wait for the initial rush to die and go see it mid-January.
Can anyone remember how long FOTR stayed on it's theatrical run?

So won't the kids have to go with an adult then? I'm hoping to see it on the wednesday - not booked tickets or anything but the showings start at 10 and go on every hour i think - so it shouldn't be that hard to get a seat.

Until about March or April.

I think I'll probably miss the kid rush... the cinema I've phone-booked for - UGC Edinburgh, release day, 3:30 - was booked solid for Die Another Day (the midnight showings were sold out by about 8PM, and that was a week after release), so I expect it'll be booked even more solid for TTT.
I am rather hopeful for this, as I had the distinct pleasure of seeing xXx (God forgive me), another 12A, with a screenful of idiotic hecklers during the October holidays. Thankfully it was the THX screen, so the explosions came off so much better...
