Question:
I realise this movie is not available on dvd/vhs at the moment but does anyone know if there are plans for its release or how does one go about lobbying the distributor (United Artists) to get it released?
Very enjoyable film.It was in anamorphic widescreen on BBC2 a week or so ago.I taped it as i don't know when/if it will be released.
I like it a lot, i'm holding onto an old dutch vhs release, almost 20 years old and unwatchable, according to the bbfc website it was never released in the UK on video :(
I've got a DVD recorder and the film sitting on my Sky+ hard drive. Once some blanks have arrived I'll be transferring the film to a DVD+R format disc. Not sure what the quality of the transmission was as yet given I've not played the recording since it was made. The VHS I have from Channel 4 a few years back isn't too bad, albeit in 4:3, but I did manage to remove all the breaks pretty seamlessly thanks to having two VCR's. :)
