Minority Report R2 - Anyone else slightly disappointed by the extras?
Question:

I've just reviewed Minority Report for DVD Times (click here (http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?page=Review&id=1158&story=3897)) and found that the extras mainly consisted of one long documentary cut up into smaller bits! To be honest, I expect more from Spielberg and Bouzereau! Anyone else agree?

Answers:

For such a big release I thought everything bar the film itself (which is excellent) was a bit humdrum - from the bog standard amaray, to the absence of any kind of printed material inside and through to the extras as you say.
Suspect there will be an 'ultimate' digipack edition coming along soon enough, and this one was rushed out in time to cash in on Christmas.

Answers:

From what I've seen, the extras are okay and touch on just about everything a viewer might want to know. For a Spielberg film, I think the set is pretty good.

Answers:

As DVD Review stated, Spielberg lets the curtain be drawn back only so far, to keep the mystique or something.

Can anyone tell me what sort of packaging this titles come in as I haven’t had time to get to the shops yet?

So the general consensus is that the extras aren't all that then? Kinda strange that they went to the trouble of hyping the extras in the press release.

Answers:

is there an ausio commentary on the disc? Or does speilberg go for his usual "no commentary" routine? :nono: :nono: :oh-hum:   :noid: :nono:
