Is Red Dwarf Series 2 out in Feb? I thought it was only going to be every 6 months. Hope they step up the pace as 2-6 can't come out quickly enough.
And I'll be up for Quantum Leap, as long as it's a proper release and not those awful rip-off Universal Play or whatever ones that the A-Team and Knight Rider have come out on.

Bottom is a British comedy set in Hammersmith London about 2 flatmates that swear, beat each other up and are rather disgusting, it's brilliant!
The pilot episode is on the Young Ones R1 set.
Alot of people want Bottom on DVD, so I didn't pad. Look again at the list and alot of people have chosen it.
I really want Knowing Me Knowing You With Alan Partridge aswell, it's strange that I'm Alan Partidge has got a release and that was made after KMKYWAP!

Want to add Teachers to this list as well. One of the most enjoyable british drama comedys for years. A cast commentary would be great:clap:

That's right! I remember now. There were so many good comedy sketch shows around that period. The one I was thinking of with Hale & Pace (plus Chris Barrie & Carla Mendonca) was "Coming Next". I've still got a Trek spoof they did on tape somewhere.

i wanted just good friends on dvd but the bbc have told me that they have no plans for this yet.
old man wants the marx brothers on dvd but they don't seem available or are they?
I would love to have Bottom on DVD.
No-one's mentioned the vaguely remembered Manimal. I was quite young at the time, but seem to remember the transformation scenes as being quite good. Think there were only a few episodes, but i'd like to see them again.
I'd probably buy a box set, if it was cheap.
Oh, and Automan (at least i think it was called automan) This guy who had this light thing called cursor that whould draw a car or something and then it would appear. It was a bit like Tron crossed with Miami Vice. Like to see that on DVD too...
The West Wing Series 2.
I'm two episodes away from the end of the first series and I don't know how long it will be till they release the next lot - anyone any idea?
A very funny, but not widely known program...
Gilberts Fridge
Does anybody remember this program? There were only about six episodes and it has never been repeated :(
Here's mine:
Comic Strip Presents....
Game On (S2 onwards)
MPFC (R2 set)
Not the 9 o'clock news
Perfect World
Ripping Yarns (complete)
Bottom
That Peter Kat Thing. With" the Services" included in the extras.
"I can see clearly now the coach has gone..."
Star trek voyager, although because they didnt release it, it seems that they have lost out as many of the episodes can be got in divx now... im not premoting it as its illegal but for those people who dont have a video player seems abit tight :noid:
Roswell
Sliders
3th Rock from the sun
Spin City
Anyone remember "Tour of Duty" - -was on channel 4 late on a staurday - always watched upon returning from the pubs in a drunken state and k.o'd in front of it wishing to wake up as a yank in naam...........everything use to go back to normal in the morning thank god.
CS
How about 'Action'.
(and Seinfeld of course)
Would (and do) happily watch the underrated That 70's Show regularly and would buy immediately. Scrubs stands up to repeat viewings as well.
Yeah, Tour Of Duty was great, ran for 3 series i think, but wasn't it on ITV not Channel 4?

Plenty of BBC mini-series crying out for DVD - they already have video releases but BBC Worldwide seem less than enthusiastic to produce DVDs. How about:

Ren & Stimpy, Police Squad, Acorn Antiques

The Simpsons Serires 3+
Brimstone (Only 1 series but cool)

Party of five
Rab C. Nesbitt :notworthy
STAR FLEET (pleeeaaasssee !!)

Police Squad
Ripping Yarns (all of, and in better quality)

Bottom is a British comedy set in Hammersmith London about 2 flatmates that swear, beat each other up and are rather disgusting, it's brilliant!
The pilot episode is on the Young Ones R1 set.
Alot of people want Bottom on DVD, so I didn't pad. Look again at the list and alot of people have chosen it.
I really want Knowing Me Knowing You With Alan Partridge aswell, it's strange that I'm Alan Partidge has got a release and that was made after KMKYWAP!

That's right! I remember now. There were so many good comedy sketch shows around that period. The one I was thinking of with Hale & Pace (plus Chris Barrie & Carla Mendonca) was "Coming Next". I've still got a Trek spoof they did on tape somewhere.
