Question:
Will any region 4 DVD play on a region 2 player?
Just need to make sure as there's an R4 DVD I wanna get for an Xmas pressie for someone who has a Tosh Region 2 only player.
They're must be a way to make it multi-region though. I'll find out the model number.
nope - a lot of R4's are dual encoded for R2, but some aren't. I think Michael's DVD site tells you if you look the movie up....
www.michaeldvd.com.au
...and, I think Tosh's can only be multiregioned by chip, not by some easy peasy method (unfortunately!)
OK thanx for the info.
I'll keep that in mind for future reference. Anyway I've found the DVD I want to buy at Play which works out cheaper and is R2.
