Lee Evans
Question:

Hi,
Just finshed watching Lee Evan's new release, wired and wonderful live at Wembley, and I can say that is THE best stand up perfance ever. Not only is it on for nearl 2 hours, but all the way through I was contastantly in stitches. I have NEVER been like that not even to my previous favorite comedian, Chubby Brown, Lee Evans is now officially the no.1 guy in opinion. Looks like a nice bloke as well from the behind the scenes extras!
If there is one comdey dvd you get this Chrimbo, get this one, you will love it.
Anyone else seen it yet?
Rob

It really feels like Christmas when you get some stand up routines to watch.
I was only going to get Eddie Izzards 'Circle' but having seen the advert with Lee saying he paid 50 quid for an F1 ticket to see a car go 'vvrrrooom' had me cracking up.
So another for the list.

Am I right in thinking Lee Evans does the Bohemian rhapsody bit at the end of this new Wembley show on DVD??

Thats the clip that put me off this disc, you'd think in a 2 hour show they could find a hilarious quote for the ad and that didn't raise a smile in my house.
His live in scotland performance was funny though both on disc and when I saw the same show in his West End run.
For me the best stand up i've seen this year was Al Murray and the worst was Peter Kay which was the worst show i've ever seen. Criminally unfunny and he re-hashed a lot of the Blackpool Tower show to the point of killing those jokes stone dead.
Doing either an unfunny or mildly funny gag over and over and over again does not make it funnier.:nono:

I know he did it in Leeds on the same tour but as for the disc I don't know. I'd guess so but someone thats seen it should be along in a minute.

It's not actually in the main bulk of the show, it is on as an extra on the dvd. Also is is slightly different to the way he used to do it, changing some of the actions, very very cool! :D

I was actually at Wembley Arena and was in stitches throughout, I cannot wait to get this DVD and relive the moments!
He came on for an encore and then did Bohemian Rhapsody! He was so chuffed he stayed on doing another hour of a comedy routine! classic!

Answers:

yeah i was there too, soooo good
He really didn't want to go. And when he came back the third time, half of the people in the audience had gone, they will be gutted when they see the DVD.
His dad on the saxaphone was brilliant.

Does anyone know if Lee Evans other Shows will be released on DVD ?
AT the moment the older classics he did are only available on VHS.
:shocker:
