Question:
I've just seen that cdiscount.com are selling the entire series of Blue Seed for about £10 (only Japanese and French Dub and no English subs - :( )
Is it worth investigating?
And how about Silent Moebius?
They've also got Space Adventure Cobra but sadly only in the French dub :mad: Shame as the prices are really low - not sure about the image quality though!
Blue Seed is suppose to be quite good as is Mobieus.. shame there's only french subs on the things.

Well for £10 and 5 dvds (as long as it's watchable) I think I'll give Blue Seed a try - I'll let you know how bad/good it is!
Was thinking the same thing but my command of French isn't too great. Incidently the R1 boxset is about £28.. not the bargain of £10 though.
Only thing was i kept thinking the site looked very unprofessional... or badly designed but i'm just used to neutral colour schemes without frames i think :)

yeah they are an OK company (by French standards at least) but their web design is a complete "bordel" :D You're welcome to get a loan of mine if you want or I can pick one up for you when I order - LMK mate :)
AFAIK they've stopped selling to anywhere outwith France due to problems they previously had...
I don't know about Blue Seed but I've got a couple of volumes of Silent Mobius already, they're pretty good.
Manga are like comics but you're talking about anime DVDs.
Silent Moebius is quite possibly the worst piece of anime I've ever seen - it's laughable AVOID!

oops will change the title - I think the French use Manga for both hence my confusion :)
Just did a google search on blue seed and it looks pretty werid but impossible to subtitle or dub properly without watering down the core of the story - may give it a miss then :(
Blue Seed is a average series, nothing outstanding, but if you can get it cheap then check it out, the R1 discs have 7 eps on each dvd.
