Wasn't it confirmed that helms deep wasn't 45 minutes - that it had only been a rumour??
I can't say the prospect of watching 45 minutes of a battle, no matter how good the CG appeals to me much. Perhaps the battle takes place over 45 minutes, but with lots of Frodo's journey into Mordor also taking up some of that screentime. I have to admit, the 'review' in Hotdog did look a little fishy to me.
The review is obviously fake.
I wonder if Hotdog will bother having anyone to turn up for the official press screening then!? :D
So Hotdog seemed to be the first people on the planet to see Die Another Day and the new Harry Potter film and now they have seen this before everyone else too? Hmm, I'm not 100% convinced they have seen the film.
I read through the review yesterday and now you mention it. All their reviews contain no new information whatsoever. Everything has been collated from the web information that everyone's privvy to. Still they being the bestest movie magazine and the bare-faced cheek is to be commened.
I thought this looked a bit dodgy (hence the question mark in the thread title). I do hope that Hotdog are not going down the same road as Empire who's journalists are notorious for writing review for films they obviously haven't seen. Very lazy. :oh-hum:

Knowing several people who work at Empire - I can safely say that this is complete ********.

I haven't read Empire for about a year now but at the time it was very apparent that some of the reviews were written by people who obviously hadn't seen the films. Either that or they slept through them! I think a few examples have been quoted here before.
Well there's a strict policy against this happening now - and they always substitute a review with a preview if they can't get a screening, putting the review online first, and in the following magazine (Harry Potter and Bond being last month's examples).
I keep getting a message saying the page is unavailable :(
Can anyone tell me, using spoilers, what score the film gets? Pretty please?
I haven't read this, but according to DarkHorizons.com it has some minor spoilers:
