Question:
I just bought Donnie Brasco (UK r2) for the 2nd time. I sold it the first time... But now it doesn't have subtitles! I think it came in a white case the first time, but now it's a black case. Is it a 2nd pressing or something?
I also want to "re-buy" The Straight Story, but according to Play.com it doesn't have subtitles. I'm quite positive it had when I bought it the first time. Is this also a 2nd pressing?

I can only assume your DVD player is R2 only cos the R1 edition pounds it into the ground ;)

I have an excellent condition R2 in white case as you desire - I got this when I first ventured into the land of DVD - now I'm 'chipped' & have a R1 copy.

Interesting, regarding the Straight Story DVD - it needs a re-release. The soundtrack is completely ******** up at the end, warbling all over the place. Enough to justify you returning it, no question (although I've still got it).
