I'm not sure if I can withstand the extra cost for no French on this one.
It's £18 from Amazon.ca, and double from Amazon.com, plus customs.
I'm buying the USA R1 set for £22.99 from www.*********.com. Customs free and a reasonable price.
Thing is though Alan, MT’s price is only a bit less than the amazon.ca price + customs. Decent chance it might get through unscathed saving a fiver and if not you’re only out a couple of quid more than MT’s price.
I was beaing lazy and getting it from Play but this thread has prompted me to cancel my order and get it from Amazon.ca, I don't mind the French writing on the cover if there is gonna be some, but I do HATE digipaks so R1 and decent Amarays for me!

Yeah I understand your logic but i'm a bilingual non-fan so amazon.ca is a non-starter unfortunately.
Reading between the lines of Raptor's post it looks like he would prefer the non-bilingual sleeve he could find a decent price... *********'s price isn't that bad.
Have you considered Deep Discount DVD or The Lasers Edge? Will still probably get hit for customs but might get a good price for the actual DVDs.
CD Wow might stock the R1 version when it comes out.

you simply don't, i think, and i stress the word 'think', that they have already paid for customs, and they ship from within the country.. the latter i'm positive about...

tj_director is right. you will not get hit by customs when using *********. this is simply because they ship to you from within this country (from an address in walsall in fact), separately from the shipments they receive from the states.
forget all the stuff about them being in los angeles and "philly". i'm sure they have contacts or part-time employees or something there, but craig is british, lives here, runs his business from here, and ships to UK customers (obviously) from here. and does an excellent job of it too, i might add.

Just tried them recently, ordered Changing Lanes, Oct 18th, and nothing has arrived ! They are re-sending it, but I dont hold out much hope, certainly wont be going back, I think they are using surface mail.
Ive asked them 4 times & cant get a straight answer.
Should have gone to CD Wow for this, they have the US version for £13.99 which is cheap for a US Paramount title.
(£18 at MT).
Looks like I'll be using MT for BTTF.. French sleeves...:nono:
Another firm to consider is DVD Planet (formerley Ken Cranes) who Ive used a few times in years gone by.. quite good, and a decent range.

i'm pretty sure the R2 is the same as the R4 edition - in other words the "international edition".
The R1 home edition is the best for extra features, but obviously pants packaging.
yes, the R2 is definitely exactly the same package as the R4. i guess there's always the faint possibility of a last minute turnaround, but i can't see it.

Click on the R1 homepage, and you'll see it on there.
Well if it's any consolation, I'm hearing that the BTTF Trilogy with only have English language tracks so it therefore won't have bilingual here in Canada.
Remember that no French = no bilingual

And according to DVD Empire... It has English DTS :confused:

Most retailers have it down as DD & DTS but most people think that DTS had to be omitted for the extras.
R1 would be great if it had more extras AND DTS!!!
If not i'm going R4 for DTS and cool packaging.
