Question:
ive never seen Harry Potter and its now showing every 15 minutes on sky. Is it worth seeing. I liked Lord of the rings and stuff but i dont know if Harry Potter is too kiddish for me.
Does it have a lot of action sequencies etc in it.
Why not take a chance and watch it? Who here can really say if you will like it or not?
just wanted peoples opinions.:)
Definitely go with the black socks m8.....
.... sorry ...... I'll get my coat :D
Harry Potter is worth seeing, I reckon. It's not all that yiddish. Plenty of action, and, well, its just a good film. Chamber of Secrets 0wnz it, though

yiddish?
I thought Harry Potter was dire. The performances were OK but it was too kiddyish for me and the action scenes weren't even that good with dodgy effects.
A disgrace to the books which I do like :)
It definitely put me off watching the sequel.
So many excellent actors were wasted in it IMO - they could have done so much more with them

Next thread: "Should I scratch my arse? Opinions please". :D
IMO It offerered nothing for adults, its for Kids only!
As a major cynic, who knew nothing about Harry Potter, I got caught up in all the hype and bought the R1 release. Verdict?
A great way to spend two and a half hours in your home cinema! Accept it for what it is, i.e. not a soul searching adult drama, and you'll enjoy!
Having not read the books for either, I watched LOTR on DVD and thought it was amazing.
Watched HP a couple of weeks later and thought it was utter tripe.
As with all films, you have to watch it and give us your opinion :)
Also bear in mind that you will need to have seen the first film before watching Chamber of Secrets.

Gimmicky...I think
I think the real question hear is Will Brad ever actually to one of his "What should I watch/This starts in 20mins should I watch it" threads saying "I watched it and it was good/crap*" :p
