Question:
I bought Mickey's Christmas Carol on VHS back in the 80's. As a bonus on the tape, there were several classic cartoons. Two of which were 1930's Xmas cartoons, Night Before Christmas was one of them. Anyone seen them on DVD ? (they aren't on the LE tin of Silly Symphony's)

The Night Before Christmas is apparently on the recently released Santa Clause SE as the reward for completing the interactive quiz:

Ive just had a look at our old vhs of this and I cant see any extra cartoons on it?
Ours is the very old version with the yellow spine?.The cover has micket sitting at a desk writing.
Is yours the mini classics version with mickey and family on it?
Yes Im sad! Ive just ordered Santa clause SE..for the kids obviously.

...i'll just go and have a look at the specs on the video inlay !
Mine is yellow, with MM at a desk writing. The spine is yellow and on the cover at the bottom it has a grey banner (like the heading above) that says "Also features four more classic Disney holiday tales". On the back it lists them:

Pluto's Christmas Tree

(Santa's Workshop is the other 30's classic that I would really like to see restored on DVD.)
The copyright is MCMLXXXIV (1984)
It seems an odd idea to put any of these on with anything else but other (classic) cartoons.
And if anyone hasn't seen these two, then you really must !!
...so yes...mine is NOT the mini classics version !
Bloody hell..this one is exactly as you describe it but without the banner at the bottom..and without the extra cartoons! :(
There must be a few versions of mickeys xmas carol out cos we have it on another vhs with a cartoon 'a christmas miracle' as the main feature!
Damn Disney ..damn them to hell!:)
