Collect Questions

Well its gettting near Christmas already and my family & friends are wondering what I want. So I decided to make up a list of Dvds to make everythign easy for them. I went through amazon and compiled what I think is a pretty damn good list, but the thing is that alot of the films I listed are simply blind buys, their mostly films I haven't seen but have heard great things about. I was hoping that maybe you guys could give me some suggestions on what I've picked out.
Brazil - Criterion Collection (1985)
Carnival of Souls - Criterion Collection (1962)
Seven Samurai - Criterion Collection (1956)
Suspiria (3 Disc Limited Edition) (1977)
8 1/2 - Criterion Collection (1963)
Last Temptation of Christ - Criterion Collection (1988
The Seventh Seal - Criterion Collection (1958)
Time Bandits - Criterion Collection (1981)
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1989)
The Evil Dead (Book Of The Dead Limited Edition) (1983)
heh... as you can see I focused alot of the Criterions... I figured if I can't afford them i might as well as somebody else for them. I would appreciate anyones feedback on these films, I've seen Evil Dead & Baron Munchausen but everything else is completely a blind selection.

The R2 Anchor Bay Time Bandits is better than the Criterion IMO and cheaper too.
Brazil Criterion can be picked up for £30 at cd wow, I am thinking about getting this myself.
Suspiria and The Evil Dead are great too.



get the Elite Edition Evil Dead DVD, i think it is better, sharper picture, open matte.
