Married With Children - More News
Question:

I received this email from www.TVShowsOnDVD.com:
Dear Hern,
We've added a news item for "Married... with Children" to the site. Here it is:
A Taste of the Bundy's - 7:14 PM 11/11/2002
While Columbia declines to respond to rumors of a May '03 release for season sets, they instead today officially announced "Married...With Children: The Most Outrageous Episode! Volume #1".
At a running time of 114 minutes, this single-disc release will have about 4 or 5 episodes from the 11-year-long series. No details have been offered yet, but the release will feature Dolby Stereo sound, and will have a suggested price of $24.95.
You were sent this email because you have expressed having "Married... with Children" released on DVD. If you no longer want to receive these emails you may change the setting in your User Options - "Change Account Information".

Well sorry, but I dont agree.
I've got the first 8 seasons on VHS off of Paramount so the only way I'm going to part with any cash is if they give it a proper treatment. The bloody Simpsons wouldn't even exsist if it wasn't for MWC but that gets the full treatment :oh-hum:
(Ok I know, its more popular etc etc but still)
And while we're on about TV shows on DVD where the hell is Sienfeld on DVD
Jerry must me making too much cash from syndication to release it
:brickwall
rant over :)

I'm not saying I'd buy this release, but, hopefully lots of mugs will buy this one and then they'll start to release the season box sets.

Disappointing - not a fan of these 'best of's' :(

On a positive side, Columbia may be putting this out just to test the waters on how many fans out there are willing to put their money where their mouth is and buy, rother than just sign a petition. If there is a sufficient response they may release a full series.
Still, Fox release 'themed' Simpson's DVDs along with the box sets.
It's all about money rather than giving the fan's what they want. :brickwall
