Question:
When are these studios going to realise that the only way to release classic TV shows is in complete season form.
R2 have some right pantsy releases of great shows like Knight Rider, A Team & Airwolf, but only selected episodes.
Am I being too fussy or does anyone else feel like this?
Also I'd like to see the whole series of :
Automan
Hardcastle & McCormick
Dukes of Hazzard
Chips
The Fall Guy
and the classic live action Spiderman with Nicholas Hammond
Released onto DVD please, if anyone from the studios is reading.
I know I'm a bit sad, but these shows capture a lost youth and retain a timeless quality.
Am I right?
Yes indeed - anyone want to campaign for a DVD release of Manimal, Scarecrow And Mrs. King...
Eddie Shoestring !
I haven't heard of many of the above shows, but one of the things I really find that works very well on DVD are TV shows.
I'd love to see:
Poltergeist: The Legacy
The Adventures of Sinbad
Tarzan
Conan: The TV Series
Buck Rogers in te 25th Century (Gil Gerard version)
Dr Who and the Sea Devils
Dr Who: The Daemons
On DVD:thumbs:
The entire Moonlighting.
The entire The Twilight Zone, 1985 - 1988 (in original format)
And a decent release of the Kenneth Johnson Incredible Hulk TV movie would be nice.

I second that (though the original series is my favourite) Poor Burgess Meredith in Time Enough At Last :(
Possible good news for NYPD Blue fans, according to TvshowsonDVD.com rumour has it that season 1 R1 will be released in March
Never seen it myself but might interest some people.
I'm very much in favour of TV shows on DVD, I rewatch Buffy, Angel, OFAH, The Office, Men Behaving Badly, etc much more then the films I have.
hell i saw a piece on the uk filmed series of tales from the crypt years ago in fango but have yet to even catch it on tv so a new dvd line of the crypt series would be oh so sweet . also the chuck connors werewolf series . and the truly terrifying(i was about five at the time) tv movie called the norsilis tapes would make my pathetic empty life complete
I will not rest until Tales from the Crypt and King of the Hill are out on DVD in their entirety!
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Kenan and Kel on DVD would be the best thing ever!!!!
Possibly The Renford Rejects as well...
Gotta be Sledge Hammer!
Keeping my fingers crossed that they will actually release further box sets to complete the original Outer Limits, Sapphire and Steel and Callan on DVD.
Anyone know if a 2nd Callan set is due for release?
Cheers
Buk
Moonlighting
Remington Steele
T J Hooker
Streets Of San Fransisco
Spiderman and his Amazing Friends (here comes Iceman!)

The lack of Police Squad! on DVD is a big issue for me.
Miami Vice. got just the 2 volumes of selected episodes.
Seinfeld, the rest of The Larry Sanders Show and series two of Twin Peaks but most of all Oliver Stone's Wild Palms.

I've mentioned these before on similar threads, but they're worth mentioning again (some already have been!)
Police Squad! - One disc would do the whole show, what are you waiting for Paramount?!
American Gothic - It should be out already. Nuff said!
Jim Henson's 'The Storyteller' & 'Greek Myths' - Where are they?
Beauty and the Beast - many of the episodes were cut when ITV first broadcast them and some regions never got a chance to see the final season (don't know if Sky showed them all, un-cut or not)
