Collect Questions

As every single dvd website tends to do these top 10 of the year type polls, why don't the dvdforums users tag together to provide hopefully a more rounded opinion rather than that of 1 person ?.
I was thinking of something like the following -
Region 1 (USA/CAN)
Best distributor -
Best dvd packaging -
Best dvd transfer -
Best dvd audio -
Best dvd extras -
Best dvd film -
Best overall dvd release -
Region 2/4 (UK/AUS/EUR)
Best distributor -
Best dvd packaging -
Best dvd transfer -
Best dvd audio -
Best dvd extras -
Best dvd film -
Best overall dvd release -
Region 0/2/3 (ASIA)
Best distributor -
Best dvd packaging -
Best dvd transfer -
Best dvd audio -
Best dvd extras -

DVD of all time (any region, any year) -
These are just some suggestions, feel free to add your ideas and opinions if you wish.



Don't forget R4.
As long as you wait until Dec to start this as there are a bunch that I haven't got yet but will by then:

LOTR
Band of Brothers
.....to name a few



I was thinking about R4 but I kinda felt that there's little difference between them and the R2, at least 98% of the time.
I could add an R4 cat if people feel its needed.........

Or you could just have R1, R2 and other regions

It's a good idea. As already said, best wait another month until more releases are out. Then a proper vote could take place.

OK, I've changed the Region 2 cat to Region 2/4 to solve the R4 problem & Changed the Region 3 cat to Region 0/2/3/ (Asian) so that Japanese release's can be included.



I think this should be an official thread started again during last couple of weeks of the year and made a sticky.
