Question:
Can anyone confirm whether the R1 versions of the Bond DVDs have the same animated menus (and general look and feel) as the R2 versions?
I'm thinking of getting the uncut R1 versions of GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies, but don't want to lose the cool animated menus and music.
cheers, RC4

I can confirm that the 'uncut' (they still have one or two edits) GoldenEye and the uncut Tomorrow Never Dies has the very cool menus in R1.
I love the Goldeneye one.

Not sure I'll bother with GoldenEye anyway, as I don't really like the film that much to care about minor cuts. But will place an order for TND this very moment...
I placed an order for GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies just yesterday for the very same reasons.
I have a couple of the R1s and their menus are actually slightly better IMO in that they are accompanied by a line of dialogue from the movie in question. The For Your Eyes Only one has Bond saying "a feast for my eyes". A nice touch missing from the R2s.
