Question:
Kicking off next year's year of the superheroes, here's the first full trailer of Daredevil. Actually looks pretty good - and nice to see there's a good element of humour in there:

Out in February - earlier than I assumed and a bit of a strange time to release a comic book movie. Would have thought this would be out in the Summer.
With Xmen, Hulk and the Matrix (essentially another superhero movie) out in the summer - it'll be a bit crowded then...
I guess so. Also from what I’ve seen of it DD looks like it’s going for more of a noir-feel which wouldn’t really work as well in the Summer.
Edit - Just watched the trailer - Looking good, looking very good.
I'm a huge Daredevil fan,so I'm keeping my judgement till I see the movie. The trailer looks promising though...
Looks good. Never read the comics - all i know about Daredevil is taken from when he appeared in the early 90s Spider-Man cartoon series (which was pretty excellent IMO).
I just lurve the comic hero films and can't wait until next year for them come out, whoo-hoooo!
So Xmen 2 is out next year? I didn't know that.
I have one huge problem with the Daredevil film - Ben Afflick. I've really tried to like the actor but there's just something about him. I'll give him another chance I'm going to see Changling Lanes at the weekend so I'll see how weel he performs opposite 'Sam the Man'.
Ben Affleck is a dreadful actor, better off having a plank of wood in a film as you'd get more out of it.
That said Daredevil does actually look quite good from the trailer, time of course will tell, but I don't have a whole of interest since it's Affleck in the lead.
I sold my Armageddon DVD as after repeat viewings it's crap, thanks to Affleck.
Affleck’s good, great even, in Kevin Smith’s movies but I haven’t seen one other role in which he’s given even a passable performance.
Not that it's really a problem, and I don't want to come across as a racist more just a minor discrepancy from the comics that the kingpin appears to be black?
Trailer looks good though, looking forward to this one.

I think Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin is inspired casting!(as well as Jennifer Garner :norty: )
Being a big Frank Miller era Daredevil fan I had my reservations about this movie but the trailer looks fantastic! Can't wait!
Well Kevin Smith is involved with this (not sure in which capacity - maybe as script doctor) - so his knowledge of the comic should help lift this film up a bit.
The bigfoot joke sounded very Kevin Smith...
Mind you - the reporter investigating the mysterious Daredevil does sound very much like the original Batman...
Kevin Smith does a 'bit' of acting in Daredevil.
The Kingpin being black i don't have a problem with. The only weak point for me was Elektra. Miss Garner is very easy on the eye but she dosen't say Greek millionairs daughter turned Assasin to me.
Still the trailer does look good...
Looks very impressive looking forward to this.
Jennifer Garner :norty: :norty:
