Question:
Put Disc 2 into my Wharfedale and half of the features don't load (just goes stright to the blue DVD logo screen). Anybody else have any problems?
Yes it does the same on my 2 Wharfedales (both different 750 versions). I've also got two R1 AOTC discs (ones a gift for someone) and its the same on both. I can access some of the documentaries by pressing play once and then very quickly pressing ENT and holding down the ENT button until the documentary appears on screen, but even this does'nt work all the time. I cannot access the trailers though. Is this disc working on other machines ?
Update: I've now managed to have success using the above method on the trailers.
Just tried Disc 2 on my Samsung 511 and it played fine.
I too have minor problems with disc 2. All the bits will playing, but there is some jumpy and sound break up on them. Makes me a little unhappy but not too bad.
I'll give the holding down ENT thing a go. Anybody got a chapter list for Disc 2?
My Wharfie has always had problems with the DVD's that have had overly complecated menu's or overly long intro's into them (eg A.I reg2 and Willy Wonka reg1).
Always assumed it was something to do with it having some kind of reduced amount of memory with which to handle the menus, but what do I know!!!
:smokin:
They pressing PLAY then holding down ENT seems to work (so far). Cheers for the tip, Davem, although I'm curious to know how you figured it out!
Not noticed any problems thus far on my second generation 750 S but some of the trailers take ages to appear.

Just trial and error really, and trying to figure out whether the disc reacted differently to me pressing either the ENT or Play keys for selecting menu options.
I got the disc this morning (R2) and am having problems with Disc 1 on my Wharfy.
the bit where Obi Wan is chasing Jango and Boba through the asteroid field
the sound keeps cutting out and I think there is a lip sync problem.
anyone else get this? (this is the box set from MVC btw, dunno if it makes a difference)
