Chopper - Comparison req
Question:

Over in the Bargains forum, we've stumbled onto whether the R4 edition of Chopper, which I've just bought is actually any better than the R2.
The R4 I have just received has "Special Edition" across the top on the front.
Inside is a "4 page booklet" or rather a sheet of paper folded in half.
On the back is a load of blurb, the statement "A not to be missed Collector's Special Edition" and a list of special features:
Original Theatrical Trailer
Audio Commentry by Director
Audio Commentary by Mark Chopper Read
Deleted scenes
Weekend with Chopper - EB meets MCR
Special 4 page booklet
Animated Menus
Animated main cast and crew filmographies
Scene Access
It's Dolby 5.1 and is in widescreen 1.85:1 format.
Anyone got an R2 to compare with that lot?

Answers:

I guess it is the same edition

I've seen last Saturday Chopper R2UK at £5 at HMV

Answers:

back of my reg 2 says...
Trailer, Animated Interactive Menus, Dir Andrew Dominick's - Feature Length Commentary, Deleted Scenes with Director's Commentary, Weekend with Mark 'Chopper' Read Featurette, Scene Access.
Language: English (!! )
Aspect ratio: 16/9 Anamorphic Widescreen.
You def' win on the booklet - mine just has a clear amaray case with chapter listing printed on reverse of cover. I'm pretty sure it has filmographies but can't check right now.. I'm also pretty sure it's 5.1

Just Remember the R2 'Weekend with Chopper' documentary is very badly cut ! - The uncut version runs for 25mins 19secs The R2 version runs 12mins 14secs - just over 3mins was cut by the BBFC and the rest was cut by the Film company Metrodome
