Collect Questions

Talking films with my kid brother over the weekend, and he mentioned a film that he and I watched on tv yrs ago, and its driving me crazy!! :nuts:
Essentially, the story is about 2 black brothers/friends (can't remember which), who are both criminals - both essentially good, but at the end, one goes straight and the other dies.
Pretty flimsy I know, but it is driving me mad thinking about it - thought it was boyz in the hood but he remembers that one, the idiot!!
Any help would me much appreciated!!

john - thats what I thought aswell, but just read the plot summary on imdb, and it doesn't sound anything like that. Have you seen the film and does it match what little I've written above then??

just reading that, it seems to match, but he said that there isn't anyone famous in the move like a wesley or cuba gooding in boyz..
