Most Anticipated Star Trek DVD? Be It One Of The Movies, Or One Of The Season's...
Question:

Out of all the upcoming DVD's in the Star Trek universe which is YOUR most anticipated one? Chose from any of the newly released movies, out now or upcoming. Or maybe its one of the seasons of TNG, DS9 VOY or ENT...maybe even TOS?
Mine would have to be Season 7 of DS9....but thats just me. :rocker:

Answers:

That would have to be Voyager on DVD, but we have got to wait until 2004 for that, so I guess in the mean time it would be Nemesis on DVD.

Generations I think, IF they bother putting in the effort for a proper SE, as I know for a fact that there are deleted scenes they could put back in.

I'm looking forward to the latter seasons of DS9, I can't wait to hear big space battles in 5.1
Oh, and if the dir. cut of Trek 5 happens I'll be looking forward to that as well - it's certainly not the worse Trek film, that honour belongs to Generations IMO.

for me I would love a dvd just with the Best Of Both Worlds 2 parter as a movie - with 5.1 and DTS sound :D
Also a SE of First Contact would be great.
As far as Im concerned though they could chuck Voyager in the bin - dreadful series. Not as bad as Enterprise but still VERY bad.
Even though Im not a fan of DS9 at least it got pretty good within the last few series.

I'm sorry but while Generations is far from perfect have you actually sat through The Undiscovered Country recently? I couldn't finish it, THAT'S a truely bad film.

Nope, I def meant ST6:TUC. Most of the film is ok, but every second that I have to watch Kim Cattrall's Valeris blights the whole film for me.

6 is one of my favourites as well and was a great way to send the old crew into retirement.
Generations isn't much more than a extended TNG episode with Data's embarrassing attempts at humor thanks to his new emotion chip. :oh-hum:

Either The Undiscovered Country or First Contact depending on the extras content

Star Trek 5, I like to see a directors cut, with additonal scenes, its not the best movie, but I like alot of the character stuff, and it didn't get the money it needed for a better ending, so be nice if they can fix that like the motion picture.
Generations needs directors cut, deleted scenes include, and extras would be great, i mean it has both enterprise captains, they should of shot behind the scenes stuff with Bill and Patrick.
I'm not sure, but First Contact could have more scenes in it, not sure, but special edition of that would be great. Search for Spock is getting a s.e, Voyage Home likely next, so like to see them all revisted, but Generations and Final Frontier can be improved on with new cuts I say.
Undiscovered Country, any new scenes, behind the scenes stuff, maybe another directors cut by Meyer would be awsome.
Like to see Paramount include DTS from Undiscovered Country and onwards, especially on First Contract. Generations has a great picture, and sound, DTS would be a nice plus, but not essential,

Legs grabbed, falls over.
Crys out while half in/out of door, but stationary.
Reaction shot of Picard, moves forward but then stops.
Back to Data, still stationary(so why did Picard stop?) then whisked under.
It always bugs me that. It should be(IMO):
Legs grabbed, falls over, crys out.
Reaction shot of Picard(stop optional).
Back to Data, head/arms just disappearing under door.
Note, no point where Data is stationary on back, half under door.
