Question:
ok-which version is better-kinda fed up having bought Fear & loathing with the criterion out & don't get me started on X-Men
anyone know which version of M.R has the better picture & features???:rocker:
According to Re-rewind (http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk/comparisons/film_results_page.php?fid=2395):
Minority Report
R1 - Dreamworks
Minority Report: From Story To Screen
Deconstructing Minority Report
The Stunts Of Minority Report
ILM and Minority Report
Final Report
Minority Report Archives (galleries, storyboards, production notes and biographies)
Trailers & TV Spots
2.35:1 anamorphic NTSC
DTS 5.1 English
Dolby Digital 5.1 English
Amaray Case
Note - 2 disc set due 17th December 2002 - a fullscreen release with identical features will also be available
R2 - Fox
Minority Report: From Story To Screen
Deconstructing Minority Report
The Stunts Of Minority Report
ILM and Minority Report
Final Report
Minority Report Archives (galleries, storyboards, production notes and biographies)
2.35:1 anamorphic PAL
DTS 5.1 English
Dolby Digital 5.1 English
Amaray Case
Note - 2 disc set due for release 30th November
OVERALL : Draw - These initial specs suggest that the only difference will be trailers and TV spots (but these may end up on the Region 2 set yet!)
Cuts
R1 - No cuts
R2 - No cuts
I'd be surprised if the trailers/TV spots somehow disappeared from an otherwise-identical disc. Even so, unless you're a total completist I'd just go with whichever's cheapest ;)

Moving to Region Comparisons. :)
i thought trailers are the standard for DVD extras :)

There might be different trailers and TV spots due to some of them (possibly) being country specific. Craig was just saying that this could be the case as he didn;t have concrete info at the time he wrote the comparison.
Anyone know about R4?
