Collect Questions

I have just read something on another forum which suggests that the original 1982 version was included on all R1 & R2 sets at the last minute.
My Girlfirend is harping on about wanting this DVD, but I want to get her a set which has the Original version as well as the new version.
Has anyone bought the R2 2 disk SE which went on sale this week (I think), and can you confirm whether the original version is on disk 2, or not.
Otherwise, is the 'Ultimate Edition' the only way to get the original version in a set?

The 1982 version isn't on the R2 2 disk SE, its only on the R1 2 Disk SE and the Ultimate 3 disc R1 version.

That's strange....I've just checked on Play R1 disks, and their R1 SE doesn't mention the 1982 version anywhere?:confused:
Why would Spielberg only put the original on R1 2 disk SE sets, and not R2?
I think I'll rent the R2 from Blockbuster and see what's on it, before deciding whether to buy it!
