Question:
Got mine from MVC, and all the discs have a small yellow rectangle printed on them saying " for rental or resale".
Does everyone's?
I know usually this sort of boxset can have "Not for rental" on it but that seemed quite odd.
On most Warner Bros new dvd cover or disc have this Rental or resale. I have it on the back cover of V Final battle. This sort of new and i don't now why that is. Anyone else please could you elaborate. Thanks
Mine from DVD.co.uk has this on aswell, it ruins the look of the discs IMO, but as for what it means, I'm as clueless as you are.
It means you are allowed to rent it (for money) as well as buy it via retail.
If you look at their new films eg Oceans 11, We were soldiers, Collateral Damage these all say NOT for rental on the retail version.
Obviously with B5 they think rental will be low for boxsets so they are allowing rental shops to rent out the retail version and not have to pay more for a rental allowed version.
