Is the Region 2 version edited compared to the R1 Version ?
I would like to know the answer just for the ' Action ' , as I have heard there is not much difference between DTS or DD5.1

R2 - No DTS, tin, expensive
R4 - No DTS, no tin, cheap

That's pretty misleading - in general the R2 is cheaper than the R1 and there's probably no customs risk.



Errr... no it's not. I never said the R1 was cheap. I only said R1 was cheap from Amazon.ca (q.v. R4), reflecting a c. 10 quid price differential from the lowest R2 prices. Even if you do get done by customs, it will still only cost the same as R2.



I hav the tin from DVD Soon and it is luverrrly :D



samuelowens where are you getting your info from? R4 version includes a DTS track.



Actually, ignor that response. I was not aware Warners announced there would be no DTS track. Sorry.



Just looked on play and the R2 tin is now cardboard after the stock runs out (which will be pretty quick i guess).
I haven't ordered yet so it is another reason to get R1 if you want the tin.



R1 DTS... any idea what the bitrate is?
