Question:
I have just seen that a Mr Bean box is to be released in Oz mid november. 3 discs but there are no details. Here in Sweden there has been a similar release some months ago (all of the episodes plus a couple of things that were only on VHS) but the cost in Oz is ca 60 % of the Swedish version. Does anyone know anything about this?

It says it'll have 14 episodes plus bonus footage. The 4 volumes that are available separately seem to have 10 episodes, 3/3/2/2, even though it's a bit hard to say for sure, so I'll get this boxset, thanks for the heads up!

Anyone got this yet and can comment on the content and packaging? All the main Aus sites seem to list it (around £20 delivered) but most seem to be out of stock - when was the release date? AFAIK it's only on R4 at the mo.
I got it almost a month ago, very nice 3 amaray disc box and a good deal. I'm glad I pre-ordered then. I didn't watch it yet though, it's laying around sealed.
I wonder why we've never had any Mr Bean releases over here?
It would seem logical that they would be out over here before coming out in Region 4 land.
Is the set R2 and R4 coded? It's released by Universal so I'd imagine it is, but they do have the occasional R4 only release so I thought I'd better check first.
