Question:
I've just had a quick look at the new Momentum release of King Kong, and did a double take at one of Jessica Lange's lines near the start of the film.
Now I haven't seen this in a LONG time, and I may have been too young and innocent to pick up on the line; but i'm sure I would have remembered the following line:
Ever met anyone who's life has been saved by Deep Throat ? :shocker:
Blimey!!
was that cut from the tv versions??
BTW Jessica Lange looks absolutely stunning

Is that actually the line? perhaps they mean it in the informant context.
a little of what you mention might not save my life but it would make me feel a bit better :norty:

If I remember correctly, She was explaining to Jeff Bridge's character how she was the only survivor when she was shipwrecked. All the guys were supposed to have been watching Deep Throat, she went out on deck just before She (The ship) went down (Ooh err!). Hence her line "Ever met..."
As far as I know it was left in the T.V. version. The film had quite a good cast, just a shame about the monkey suit.
Mulders was saved a few times by him! ;)
and John Barry did the score too
and there is a very bad sequel to this film starring Linda Hamilton,
where Kong gets it on with his mate !! ( i think) after surviving his fall.....
