Could anyone confirm whether it's 2.35:1? Back cover lists it as 16:9 anamorphic :confused:
I might rent, but not if it's been cropped :nono:

The 16:9 anamorphic relates to the picture being optimised for a widescreen tv. 2.35:1 is the aspect ratio. I think you have 16:9 and 1.85:1 aspect ratio confused.
Nope - FilmFour/VCI releases usually refer to 2.35:1 films being "2.35:1 anamorphic", eg. "Land Girls".
"Hilary and Jackie" was labelled as 16:9 anamorphic, and that turned out to have been opened up to 16:9, despite the cinema release having been 2.35:1.
But if you've seen the K-PAX rental version and it is 2.35:1, then that's OK! :)
