If not cut by the BBFC I bet they're busy chopping out enough to get it that 12A. It's a worrying that so many films that might be a 12 or 15 and get away with things are potentially going to be hit with cuts (or the studio will pre-cut knowing it could be cut) because of the likelyhood of under 12 watching as a 12A cert. It was bad enough when they introduced the 12 and all the companies aimed for a 12 instead of 15.
No sign of a BBFC cert yet, and only a few weeks to go.

If so, the BBFC are bound to be making cuts to ensure a 12A rating.
As long as the DVD ends up uncut I won't be bothered...otherwise it'll be the R1 for me!
Having said that, I have the R2 releases for all the other Bond films. Those spines look so nice all snuggled up next to each other.

There have been posts slaging off Hale Berry's acting (didnt she win an oscar?), madonna's song/video, the trailer, & now the cuts to the film which migth not even happen!
I for one am realing looking forward to it, & out of all the films that are out this Xmas I will proberly only make an effort to see this & Two Towers,
It looks farily good, at least a lot better than that crap that is The World Is Not Enough or the mediocre muppentry named Tomorrow Never Dies.

Seeing as TWINE's violence was substiantially toned down before the American release, we'll probably get the same version the Yanks'll get. From the trailer, the much-publicised sauciness between Brosnan and Berry looks to have been shot 'tastefully', i.e. in near darkness! So it'll probably be enough to warrant a 12A without cuts - as long as there's no ******' headbutts. As for the movie itself, if it's better than the snooze-fest that was TWINE (I like TND, though), then I'll be happy.
