Can anyone tell me if ER is available on DVD and if so where to get them from.
Also is the quality any good?

You can get them from CDJapan (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp), Ive only got season 1 but the quality is quite good, seasons is split in two halves and you buy them both to get the full season.
I'll move to DVD & Movie :)

I got the first season from CD-Japan earlier this year, and although it worked out quite expensive (about £85 in total!) I have no complaints. Picture quality good, removable subs, even a 40m extra in the form of a recording of a Noah Wyle publicity tour of Japan.
Unlike a lot of other programmes which take some years to reach their potential, ER had it pretty much nailed from the start. Season 1 was terrific, with some of the best episodes they've ever done. And the original 6 cast members are unbeatable.
If anyone is thinking of buying any of the seasons (I think the first 6 are currently available), I should point out that the first is definitely the best value. It is comprised of 24 episodes -- all subsequent series have had 22 -- plus the 90m pilot.
