Hi guys and gals,
Just bought Ocean's Eleven R3 (2001) From CD-Wow for my m8's birthday, and on the site they put it down as a 1:85:1 non-anamorphic, but the disk is a 2:35:1 Anamorphic.
I took a look at the Tech Specs on IMDB and noticed that the OAR is 2:35:1 but the R1 dvd is 1:85:1 anamorphic....
So what the hell is going on, is the R3 correct or re-framed, or is the R1 correct or cropped?
i have the R1, and it's 2.35:1.. there is a fullscreen version available aswell.
Fine, the specs on IMDB for the R1 DVD are incorrect.

Fine :clap:, i'm going to watch it 2-nite before i give it him and if it's any good i may buy myself (for £11.99 :clap: )
And the thought of a non-anamorphic disk of a new film made me shudder.
But all is ok in DVD land.
You can rest easy 2-nite, safe in the knowlage that r3 Ocean's Eleven is Anamorphic.
What your gonna give him a 2nd hand DVD for his birthday - :shocker: , tsk! tsk!:lol:
Not second hand, i'm just making sure it's ok before i give it him.
I don't want to give it him and him moaning that it's buggered.

Um... the packaging on the Region 2 disc also mentions that the aspect ratio is 1.85:1. Can anyone confirm if it's the same problem with the Region 3 and the packaging is incorrect?
The film should be in 2.35:1

The box also says it's 181 mins long, which is obviously not correct. The designers/marketing people were just asleep at the wheel it seems...

I noticed that myself. I watched it this afternoon and the 3 hours just flew by :D
I posted about it in the Sticky link at the top of the page yesterday, on how the package says 1.85, when the film is 2.35.
Didnt notice the 181mins running time though:)
