so do you want to give a more detailed review then? :p
I saw the trailer for this when I was seeing Red Dragon last night and I thought it looked quite promising (also Harrison Ford is in uniform :norty: )
It's not that sub that sank not that long ago trapping all the people inside is it?
Seeing the adverts for it on TV have to make me laugh tho:
"Contains sustained peril and grisly images"
sustained peril? wtf is that all about?
I watched it on the plane back from the states and found it uninspiring. Seems a bit cliched and doesnt really offer anything over any other submarine film I`ve seen. Also contains some of teh worst russian accents since sean connery.

No, from the IMDB:
The story of USSR's first nuclear ballistic submarine, which suffered a malfunction in its nuclear reactor on its maiden voyage in the North Atlantic in 1961. The submarine's crew, led by the unyielding Captain Alexi Vostrikov, races against time to prevent a Chernobyl-like nuclear disaster which threatens not only the lives of his crew, but has the potential to ignite a world war between the super powers
ah! thanks :)
I saw it on a plane as well and quite enjoyed it. It just rose above the average due to Ford and Neeson (dodgy accents aside, I really don't mind too much about those) and good support from a relatively unknown cast.
Not as effective as Crimson Tide but superior to the overrated U-571
