what is the difference between 'The Matrix' and 'The Matrix Revisited'????
which of the good is the one to get?

matrix is the film, revisited is an entire dvd with doumentaries, sfx features and stuf about the film, allsoo available n a 2 disk set with the film and trevistited which is the best one to go for. note that the region 2 of the matrix is cut...

Don't forget the R2 Matrix is cut.
What about the R4 version?
R1 has 5.1 audio while the R2 is 2.0
the R4 is the best as its uncut and also has a nice amaray case instead of a snapper, urgh! been meaning to get the r4 for ages, and now its been released with revisited aswell, im very tempted!
R1 has 5.1 audio while the R2 is 2.0

Go for the R4 if u can, it's cheap, uncut and has all the extras from both regions making it the clear winner.

Yeah, and then this appears to be a reason to cut the commentary, most of which is just silence anyhow!! :lol:
The isolated music score (and composer's commentary) is also missing from R2.
2 headbutts are cut. One in the fight between Morpheus and Agent Smith in the toilet, and one in the fight between Neo and Agent Smith in the subway.
I think all cuts amounted to about 15 secs, though didn't they? I'll have to check the BBFC site again.
I forgot about the composer's commentary. Maybe that was cut because the music jumps obviously at the film cuts? :confused:
Anyone know what the score is regarding Matrix: Reloaded coming to DVD next year? I think i remember reading it will be pretty quick after the cinema release. I've just got rid of The Matrix, are they gonna do a pack in deal with both films?
I have R1 of the Matrix, and Asda had a Matrix revisited in there damaged goods section (no box) for £5.99, so that is Region 2. Just put them both in a Double case with a nice customer cover :)
