Do HKL own the rights to Drunken Master 2 and if so what other Chan movies do they own that haven't yet been released?
The R1 Legend of Drunken Master only has a dub track, but i'm finding the superior R0 hard to get hold of.



I dont think they do have the rights to Drunken Master II :(
They are relaseing Project A part II in november and Young Master in December :)



The Western rights to Drunken master 2 belong to Miramax/Disney.
To be fair the R1 is a very good print and the English dub is at least Jackie's voice unlike the Cantonese dub.

Having all the versions, I much prefer the (cropped) Thakral DVD. the original language and soundtrack are excellent. The Dub on the R1 isn't awful, but it certainly irritated me.



the Drunken Master 2 from DDDhouse, is that the Thakral DVD ?

its the R3 warner edition. no English subs
It is either English dubbed or Cantonese.
If u don't speak cantonese it's a waste of time as it's the old dub not the new R1 one.
