Question:
Anybody have any idea as to why the Carry on films on DVD have been deleted?
The rights reverted back to Carlton a few months ago. Carlton are now in the early stages of preparing all new releases, complete with trailers and commentaries
I'll update on www.carryonline.com as soon as there's some definite news, but it's looking like Peter Rogers, Robert Ross and Jim Dale are all down for commentary duties so far.
Any chance of anamorphic widescreen releases? Can only hope I guess:)
Good news about the re-releases as I heard the old ones had many flaws.
I must admit I love some of the Carry On films and will be getting them, but not all.
Some of my favourites:
Carry On Don't Loose Your Head.
Carry On Cowboy
Carry On Cleo
Carry On Screaming.
Carry On Up the Kyber
Methinks there is a pattern there.
Guess I am a sucker for the period/costume stories.
I wanna get the R1 12 Movie Set, it looks good!:rocker:
